To provide an opportunity for children to experience paint that flows differently from paint applied using brushes, we conducted a workshop where children used sponges cut into shapes as stamps to paint.
Children could enjoy manipulation that leaves traces on a surface, which were formed by sponges that absorb paint. The children were able to feel the touch of the sponge when they grasped it as they painted. The art of each individual child was unique. |
